The farmhouse and grounds are extremely spacious and ideal for a large party. Entrance to the property is via an oak door into the entrance porch with coat hooks and two natural beech benches. The very large sitting room oozes character with exposed beams, natural stone walls and two sitting areas each with a wood burning stove as their focal point. There are two big comfortable sofas and four armchairs, coffee tables and occasional furniture, a TV (with NOW TV) a DVD and stereo. The house is wifi enabled.
The kitchen has cream painted wooden units, a lovely slate floor and a large oak table seating ten with views of the garden and paddocks. It is fully equipped with an American fridge freezer, dishwasher and range cooker with two ovens and five rings plus a microwave oven. Patio doors lead onto the garden where you can find our log cabin games room with a table tennis table, dartboard, TV, sofa and comfortable chairs. There is also a utility room with lots of storage and hanging space, a washing machine and tumble dryer. Also downstairs is a small shower room with. Off the utility is a small shower room with loo.
The master bedroom suite has a dressing room and ensuite shower room. It has an A frame beamed ceiling, double aspect views with a full length picture window commanding views of the paddocks and woodland. From the bedroom there is an external stone staircase to the courtyard (fire exit). There are two other beautifully furnished double bedrooms and one small double (4’ bed) upstairs, together with a spacious family bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Downstairs there is a large twin bedroom (zip and link so can be a king size bed) with views of the paddocks and a single bedroom with views of the garden. Both have access to a Jack and Jill en suite shower room with safety non slip flooring, a large walk in shower with grab rail, vanity unit and toilet.
Step outside the French doors from the kitchen and there is a gravelled area with table and chairs and an area with seating and views of the paddocks and horses.
Up a flight of steps is a cottage garden, well stocked with plants and flowers; it is south facing so gets plenty of sun and has a table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue.
